Anglican Deacons Canada conducted the first-ever national survey of Canadian Anglican deacons in December 2022 and January 2023. The survey served as a foundational element in a visioning and strategy initiative which culminated in ADC's 2024 Vision and Strategy Report and its findings continue to be a key ingredient in shaping ADC's work going forward.

The survey had several goals: • to understand the attitudes, aspirations and concerns of deacons with regard to their vocation; • to understand how Anglican Deacons Canada can better serve and equip deacons; • to gain a clearer picture of the makeup of the Canadian diaconate; and • to connect directly with more deacons.
